HILL, JOHNNIE GRIMES - 76 of Philadelphia passed away Wednesday November 28, 2012 at her home. Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Wayne R. Hill after 45 years of marriage; granddaughter, Angel Hill; son in law, Roy Melton; parents, Joe and Josephine Foster Grimes; brother, Bobby Grimes. Survivors: children and spouses, Michael Hill, Indiana, Kay Sparks and husband, Larry of Loudon, Douglas Hill, Knoxville and Karen Melton, Philadelphia; grandchildren, Justin and Jerome Tripp, Vernon, Becky and Daryl Hill; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Annie Sue Sparks and husband, Leslie, Loudon. Johnnie was mamaw Hill to Karen's 27 foster kids and Kay's 2 foster kids whom she loved very dearly. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Friday at New Macedonia Baptist Church with funeral services at 7:30 p. m. Rev. Bill White and Rev. Gerald Lynn officiating.
