Josh Rucker, age 36 of Paint Rock, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020. He had a fierce love for his boys and his dog Chance. Josh loved working in the woods, cutting timber with his grandfather and continued to do so after his passing. He loved the outdoors, working on vehicles, and especially working with heavy equipment. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and loved his boys more than anything. Preceded in death by his wife, Delilah Caldwell Rucker; Grandparents, Loyd and Blanche Britton of Paint Rock, and Sam and Bessie Rucker of Stockton Valley; Aunt and Uncle, Trish and Tom Bradshaw; Uncle, Jackie Britton Josh is survived by children, Nathanuael and Sam Rucker; Parents, Teresa Rucker and J.E. Rucker and wife Julie; Step-Dad, Roger Adams; Sister, Brandi Rucker; Uncle and best friend; Wade Britton; Aunt, Barbara Rucker Reynolds; Special Nephew and Niece, Alex and Chelsea Dyer; Cousins, Michael Britton, Jonathan Bradshaw; Josh is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 7pm officiated by Rev. Michael Britton. The graveside service will be Thursday May, 28, 2020 at 11am at Tennessee Chapel Church Cemetery.
