Joyce Smallen, 72 of Loudon, passed away suddenly, with her daughter Ronda, in North Carolina on October 17, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Nellie Russell; brothers, J.R. and Eugene Russell; and sister, Hazel Glass. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Smallen; daughter, Donna Fox; stepson, Michael P. Smallen, Sr.; granddaughters, Kayla Smallen and Amy Hanson; great grandchildren, Kahlan, Bethany and Aiden Pulling; sisters, Fayda Jennings and Celesta Herrell; brothers, Edward and Joe Russell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be 7pm Saturday, at Loudon Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2pm Sunday, at Corinth Cemetery, for graveside service. The family will receive friends 4pm - 7pm, Saturday, prior to the service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
