Judy Lynn Bridges Cowden - age 66 went to be with the Lord after a brief illness on Thursday March 12, 2015. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She retired from Ryder Truck Rental after 20 years as a bookkeeper. She served as church clerk at Riverview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Leamon and Anita Bridges. She is survived by her husband Charles Cowden, sister, Phyllis Finazzo and Vito, brother, Bob Bridges and Barbara; Children, Jeannie Maples Ullrich and Peter, Susanne Maples Guy and Mason, Tami Williams and Rick, Angie Thurmond and Woody, Jimmy Cowden and Stephanie; grandchildren, Abraham, Jennica and Rockne Ullrich, Bradley, Matthew and Bridget Guy, Jessica Ilsen and Rebecca Williams, Marquanne Davey and Madison Thurmond, Bryson, Kennedy and Kelsey Cowden and One great-grandchild McKinley Davey and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on March 15, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverview Baptist Church with Funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Steve Hancock and David Barnes officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Monday March 16, 2015 at Edgewood Cemetery for Graveside Services.
