Our dearly-loved mom and grammy, Judy Spell, 77, passed away unexpectedly and was called home to be with The Lord on January 2nd, 2021. It was widely known how much she loved Jesus and her family, lived generously, and cared immensely. Born in Georgia and coming from the wonderful & loving Harper family, she grew and found the love of a lifetime in her husband, Clyde.
They proudly served our country as an US Air Force family as they lovingly raised two sons. During this time, she came to saving faith in Christ, with the help of her dear friend, Betty, and went on to serve God, sing & play worship music, and love others. Meanwhile, she and Clyde enjoyed retirement together in their log home in the beautiful hills of Tennessee while watching their families grow with their respective wives and many grandchildren & their families. She made several lifelong friendships that she loved & treasured and counted each of her three dear sisters among them. She is preceded to Heaven by and now reunited with her husband of 47 years., Clyde, and her parents Leonard & Martha. She is survived by her loving family including their sons and wives, Steve & Lisa and Mike & Trish, her sisters and their husbands, Myra & Mike Juback, Ouida Schall, and Debi & Fred Baker. Her grandchildren Jeff and Naomi, Matt and Shiann, Tate, Kara, Keaton, and Lauren Kate; Great-Grandchildren Taylor, Blake, Ava Grace, Brianna, Rachel and Jeremiah; In-laws John Outlaw, Ruby Brooker, and Marie Belcher. Additionally loved by Bob & Lorie VanReeth, Gina and Kelly & Chris Bewley, many nieces and nephews, other extended family, and numerous caring friends.
In consideration of the current pandemic health risks, we will forego a public formal funeral service until a future private celebration of life can be held. The family wishes to thank all of those who have supported, ministered, and positively impacted Judy and her family over the years. For these, we know that your life will have been brightened and changed because of your experiences with her. Lastly, please consider your own relationship with God since, as in her case, we never know when our lifetimes will be completed.
