Lois Jenkins Kerr, age 89, of Loudon, became absent from the body and present with the Lord on October 18, 2016. Lois was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church in Knoxville, but had attended First Baptist Loudon and Central Baptist of Loudon in recent years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her beloved husband of 50 years William R. Kerr; one daughter, Gwendolyn Lynn; one great granddaughter, Anna Lynn; two brothers, Kenneth and Lloyd Jenkins; two sisters, Joyce Worthington and Charlene Denton; and a foster son, Bill Wilson. She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Felix R. (Bob) Kerr (Pat), Athens, and W. Daryl Kerr (Sharon), Knoxville; one son-in-law, Ron Lynn (Becky), Strawberry Plains; six grandchildren, Todd Lynn (Cynthia), Oklahoma, Bart Lynn (Kim), Clarksville, Erika Nickless (Damion), Los Angeles, David Kerr (Crystal), Wake Forest, NC, Kristin Kerr, Knoxville, John Kerr (Camissa), Wake Forest, NC; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin Jenkins, David Borden (Pat), Corryton; one sister, Frankie Stroud, Knoxville; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22 from 12 to 2 pm, at Loudon Funeral Home, with the funeral service at 2 pm, in the chapel. Rev. Felix R. (Bob) Kerr and Rev. David Kerr officiating. Interment to follow at Corinth Cemetery in Loudon. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Todd and Bart Lynn, David and John Kerr, great grandsons, Bailey and Felix Kerr.
