Lucy Shell Allen North age 100 of Philadelphia passed away Thursday June 5, 2014 at Woods Nursing Home. She was a member Philadelphia First Baptist Church and preceded in death by husband and father of her children; William Elmer Allen; second husband, Paul North; parents, Jesse A. and Dicie Jenkins Shell, daughter, Zella Byars, grandsons, Steven Stanley Harris, and Daniel Joseph Harris, great-great-grandson, Mason William Allen ; great-great-grandson, Zachery Earl Gage. Survivors, daughters and son-in-law's, Robbie and Dan Harris of Philadelphia, Linda and Jon Harrison of Sweetwater; son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Patricia Allen of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Marsha and Jack Thomas of Riceville; Sheree and Gary Smith of Maryville; William Joshua and Valerie Allen of Philadelphia; Ashley Nicole and Chad Chambers of Madisonville; Lacie Allen of Sweetwater; Velva and Stephen Trent of Knoxville; Jon "Corky" and Suzanne Harrison of Smithville; 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Cox of Loudon. Family will receive friends from 12 noon- to 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church Philadelphia prior to the service. With Rev. Brian Courtney and Rev.
