Lydia Cordell

Lydia Nichols Cordell, age 92 of Lenoir City passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  She enjoyed talking and spending time with her friends, her word searches, and flowers.  One of her favorite things to do was cooking a large meal for all of her family and friends. Lydia was preceded in death by husband, Hall Cordell; Parents, Jerry and Martha Cathy Nichols; Brothers, Wesley, Charlie “Buck”, and Bobby; Sisters, Elmira, Elean, Pearl, Artie, Anna Marie, Mildred. Lydia is survived by children, Edith Marie Houston and husband Kenneth, and Bobby Leon Cordell and wife Connie; Grandchildren, Karen Roudkovski and husband Jake, Tressa Manis and husband Kevin, Ty Turbyville; Great Grandchildren, Katerina and Joseph Roudkovski, Kaitlyn Manis, Zaccery Dyer; Lydia is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.  Friends may visit at their convenience on Saturday, January, 9, 2021 at Loudon Funeral Home between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Sunday, January 10, at 12:30 pm to go in procession to Citico Cemtery for the 2 pm Graveside service.
