Mary Costner

Mary P. Costner, age 98 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, December 1, 2014 at her home. She was the oldest living member of Blairland Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and caregiver. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Cora Presley; husband, Sam H. Costner; daughter, Jerleen Costner Gentry; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter Sammie (Jim) Nix; son Jesse Ray Costner, all of Loudon; Granddaughter and devoted caregivers, Jessica and Jakub Avramov; granddaughters Susan (Keith) Kelley, Brandi (Jeremy) McNally, Angel (John) LoCascio, Kim (Leroy) Haun; grandsons Sam (Joann) Costner, Jamie (Gina) Nix, Jody (Deanna) Nix; twenty one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The Family would like to thank Quality Health, especially Glennis Moore, for the exceptional, loving care given. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Wednesday at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeremy McNally and Pastor Jon Henson officiating. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Tuesday evening. Interment at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
