Mary was preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Roy Edgmon; grandson, Michael Harold Edgemon; great-granddaughter, Julie Henry; parents, Wilbur & Rosie Smith Peak Douglas; sisters, Margaret Easter, Mildred "Dolly" Montgomery, Lita Shelton; brother, J.L. Peak; brothers-in-law, Edgar Edgmon, E.K. (Ernest) Edgmon; sisters-in-law, Gorda Gordon & Margaret Wilson. Survivors: sons & spouses R.W. (Buddy) & Wilma Edgemon, Philadelphia, Charles & Deborah Edgemon, Sweetwater, Lee Roy & Flora Edgmon, Niota, David & Martha Edgmon, Sweetwater; grandchildren, Eugene & Missy Edgemon, Carolyn & Billy Henry, Kim & John Simmons, Sandra Edgemon, Charlene & T.C. Smith, Anthony Edgmon, Jeffrey Edgmon, Melissa Edgmon & Gregory Edgmon; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Erma Hughes, Boyd & Jean Edgemon, Ten Mile, Mary Lou Williford, Midtown, Ruth Neeley, Harriman & Louise Peak, Decatur.
