Mary Hughes

Mary Nelle Giles Hughes, age 87, of Loudon, passed away March 8, 2015 at Sweetwater Hospital. She was an LPN at Loudon Memorial Hospital for 47 years and was also a member of First Baptist Church of Loudon. Preceded in death by husband John "Buster" Hughes; her parents Albert and Hazel Giles; brothers Thomas E. and Benjamin A. Giles; sisters Alta Ruth Giles Weaver, Dorothy Agnes Giles Lane and Mattie Caroline Giles Snow and her great grandson Shaun Collins. Mary Nelle is survived by her daughters Pat Reynolds and husband Donald and Brenda Kyle and husband Jerry, all of Sweetwater; Betty Rolen and husband Junior of Loudon and son Larry Hughes; sisters Lynda and Jack Goble of Loudon, Geraldine Steele of Texas and brother Roy Giles of Buford, SC; grandchildren, Jacque Fling and husband Randy, Whitney Reynolds, Misty Kyle, Jeff Kyle, Charity Collins and husband Chris and Stephanie Glass and husband Terry; great grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Greg and Nic Fling, Brandon Shirk, Samantha and Cody Glass and Crey Collins; great great grandson Brayden Shirk. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 7 pm, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard Everett and Rev. Gene Russell officiating. Graveside service on 1 pm Thursday, Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
