Mary Elizabeth Carter Queen 79, of Broad St. Sweetwater passed away Saturday-- Sept. 11, 2010. at Sweetwater hospital. Mary was a member of Gregory Chapel Church & retired employee of life care nursing center, Athens. She was preceded in death by parents, Will & Louise Lunsford Carter; daughter, Teresa Queen. Survivors; son & daughter-in-law, David & Barbara Queen, Niota; several grandchildren: sister, Margaret Queen, Sweetwater; Former devoted husband William E. Queen, Calhoun. Funeral services 7 p.m. Monday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Clinton Riddle officiating. Family & friends will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sweetwater Memory gardens for graveside services. Visitation: 5 - 7 p.m. Monday Loudon Funeral Home
