January 5, 1951 — November 21, 2016

Mary Frances Trout, 65, of the Paint Rock community passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, November 21, 2016. Mary was of the Baptist faith and was very vocal about her love for and faith in the Lord. Her favorite verse was Psalms 118:24 "This is the day the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be happy in it" Mary had the heart of a servant and worked for years in direct care industry, serving those less fortunate than herself at Ridgeview Psychiatric Hospital and Adult Community Training. Her parents Gene & Adele Trout, brother Burley Trout, sister Kathryn Baker, parents-in-law Rufus and Bertha Stair, brother-in-law Ralph Stair and wife Bessie, preceded her in death. Mary is survived by her husband and love of her life, Rob Stair, her son Jamie, who was true gift from God for her and Rob; grandchildren, Joe and Niala Stair; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces; and brother, Johnny Trout, of Athens. Mary also leaves behind best friend/sister Teresa Britton. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Patterson and Rev. Stephen Melton officiating. Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, High Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 Friday, prior to the funeral service.
