SCARBROUGH, MELVIN ODELL - age 69, of Loudon died January 3rd 2013 at Ft. Loudoun Medical Center after a lingering illness. He is preceded in death by, parents, Leota and Estel Scarbrough; grandparents, Minnie and Jessie Scarbrough and Lucy and Thomas Kelley brothers, Albert and Claude; sisters, Dorthy, Wilma and Wanda; step son, Kenny; Infant daughter, Theresa and best friend and brother-in-law Eddie King. He is survived by his wife Dorthy; daughters, Angel, Angie, Melanie and Vandy and their spouses; sister, Shirley; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Blairland Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Henson officiating, Family and friends will meet at Oak Ridge Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. On Sunday for graveside service and Interment.
