Morgan Jones

Jones, Morgan K age 82 of Lenoir City, formerly of Sweetwater, died Thursday, January 8, 2015, At Baptist Health Care Center. He was an active member of Reed Springs Baptist Church. A well-known Beef Cattle Farmer and retired Milk Hauler for Dairymen Inc. Proceeded in death by parents Neal and Jewell Jones, first wife and mother of his children Christine Tilley Jones. Survivors, wife Shirley Jones, son and daughter in law Mike and Vanessa Jones of Powell, daughter Donna Jones Cathcart of Sweetwater. Grandchildren, Nathan Jones and wife Brittany of Knoxville, Bradley Cathcart of Sweetwater, Brandon Jones of Huntsville, AL and finance Casey Marriott, and Stephanie Cathcart Wilburn and husband Daniel of Knoxville. Great Grand Children Teagan and Emma Jones, Morgan and Sean Wilburn. Sisters, Mrs. Don (Callie) Pardue of Sweetwater, Mrs. Lon (Brenda) Marcum of Cookeville. A number of nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Sweetwater Saturday January 10, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 pm with the funeral to follow with Rev. Jerry Vittatoe and Dr. Michael Jones officiating. Interment immediately following at Sweetwater Memory Gardens. Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Tennessee Alzheimer's Association 5801 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919-6340.
