Nathan 'Nate' Roberts, age 44 of Dexter, Oregon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. An enthusiastic Ducks fan, he loved his friends and family, his country, and his girls with all that he had. He loved to travel and lived all across the United States, settling in Tennessee in the last month of his life.
Nate is preceded in death by his grandmother Phyllis Hammond, and step-grandmother Dolores Roberts. He is survived by grandparents Merle and Iris Kloster and Edgar Roberts, step-grandfather Ronald Hammond, parents Gerald and Cherri Roberts, daughters Alexis and Isabel Roberts, sister Amanda Roberts, niece and nephew Deanna and Christopher Helvie, and extended family.
In lieu of a public funeral and service Nate's family will share in a private celebration of life, remembering their fondest memories with him.
Most who knew Nate, know he was a type 1 diabetic and a long time supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, always believing there would be a cure. As the disease that took his life, instead of cards and flowers, the family will accept donations in memorial at JDRF.org.
We will always remember Nate's excitement for life when we watch the Ducks play, "Quack quack, baby! Go Ducks!
Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.loudonfuneralhome.net. Arrangements by Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations.
