LEWIS, ORVIL L. - 77 of Davis Ferry Rd., Loudon, died Saturday evening, February 26, 2011 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital surrounded by his daughter & son in law after complications of end stage liver disease. Heaven is rejoicing and welcoming this faithful servant today. He will always be remembered as someone who was easy to love and hard to forget - his kind eyes, the lilt of his head, his loving smile and humble nature will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful father, loving pap, and a friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply and sorely missed. Retired employee of Eaton Yale & Towne; veteran of Army Korean Conflict and preceded in death by wife, Gladys Rapier Lewis; parents, John M. & Mossie Jones Lewis. Survivors: daughter, Terri Lewis-McCluskey & husband, Lance, Knoxville; two grandchildren, Amelia Grace & Davis Luke McCluskey; brothers, Shirley Lewis, Jack (Mary) Lewis, Oral Lewis, Harmon Lewis and Larry (Ella) Lewis, Kentucky, Greene (Ruth) Lewis, Illinois; sisters, Mrs. Ralph (MaryLynn) Rosselot, Memphis, Mrs. David (Mabel) Anderson, Maynardville & Lois Ann Bryant, Williamsburg, Kentucky; many nieces & nephews. Funeral services 7 p.m. Monday Loudon Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Rick Kirk-land & Rev. Bobby Kirkland officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday Davis Cemetery with military honors by Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
