Patricia Goins

Patricia “Trish” Ann Goins, age 61, departed her earthly home on August 4, 2020 and met her son Blake at the gates of Heaven. She was born October 27, 1958 in Knoxville, TN. She is survived by her husband, James “Ed” Goins; her daughter, Amber (Matthew) Henderson; her son, Tyler (Morgan) Goins; grandsons, Oakley Henderson and Brantley Goins; granddaughter, Henley Goins; brothers, David (Sandy) Blankenship, Gary (Angie) Blankenship, Terry (Tonya) Blankenship, and sister Donna (Eddie) Morgan. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Bill and Pauline Blankenship and her beloved son, Blake Edward Goins. The only role Trish loved more than her role as a mother to her three children was that of Mimi to her three grandbabies. She loved singing, especially with her siblings, bluegrass music, and spending time with her family. Around her house you would find shelves full of swans, grape décor, and snowmen; her heart’s shelves were full of love for others. She was beloved for her helping spirit, her steadfast faith, and her willingness to do anything for anybody in need. Trish was a lifelong member of New Macedonia Baptist Church. She is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Friends may visit at their convenience on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Loudon Funeral Home, between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.  Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at New Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
