GRIFFIN, PAUL E. - 86 of Corinth Church Road, Loudon, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Park West Medical Center. Paul was a veteran of the Army, WW II and retired employee of Denton Paving Company. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Williams Griffin; parents, Samuel Paul Griffin and Mary Bell Schrimsher Griffin; son, Michael; brothers, John and Leroy Griffin; sister, Roselle Cook. Survivors: son, Steven Griffin, Loudon; daughters, Jayne Griffin, Arizona and Christine Appleby and husband, Specialist Mark Appleby of Ft. Lee, VA; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services 6:00 p.m. Thursday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Eulogy by family members. Family and friends will meet 1:00 p.m. Friday Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services with military honors by Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
