EVANS, RAYMOND LEE - 77 of Bishop Road, Loudon, passed away Tuesday August 9, 2011 at his home. Raymond was a veteran of the US Navy and retired employee of Robert Shaw MFG. Co. Preceded in death by parents, Buford & Ethel Howard Evans; brothers, Kenneth, Herbert, Leon & James Roy Evans. Survivors: wife of 49 years, Beatrice Russell Evans; 5 children & spouses, Janice & Donnie Richardson, Keith Evans, Linda & Chris Jaynes & Bradley Evans, Loudon, Marvin Evans, Knoxville; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Benny (Freda) Evans, Tellico Plains & Howard Evans, Vonore; brothers in law, Joe Russell & B.R. Russell, Loudon. Funeral services 7 p.m. Wednesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Pruett officiating. Interment Simpson Cemetery 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
