Ronald Smallen

Ronald V. “Lightning” Smallen, age 81 of Loudon, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019.  He was a Navy Veteran and was stationed on the USS Taussig. He retired from Walmart in 2017.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Ronda Smallen Hanson; son, Michael P. Smallen, Sr.; parents, Cecil and Bobby Smallen.  He is survived by his daughter, Donna Smallen Hooks; grandchildren, Kayla Smallen, Amy Hanson, Joyce Smallen, Shan Smallen and Michael Smallen, Jr.; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friend, George Selvage. Special thanks to Edward, Barney and Joe.  Funeral service will be Monday, September 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm, at Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations. Rev. Lynn Goodwin will officiate. Graveside service 11:00 am Tuesday at Corinth Cemetery. The family will greet friends 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday, prior to the funeral service.  Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is honored to serve the Smallen family.
