Roy L. Lawhon, Jr.

Roy Leonard Lawhon, Jr., age 69 of Vonore, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2023. Roy loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a carpenter by trade and he loved smoking meat. 

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy Lawhon. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dianne Lawhon; children, Crystal Presley, Greg Smith and wife Joy, Sharon Vannoy and husband Dwight; brother, Ronnie Lawhon; grandchildren, Chelsea Underwood, A.J. Presley, Brittany Watson and husband Gabriel, Kaitlyn Brannon and husband Zach, Kevin Vannoy, and Ryan Morgan; great-grandchildren, Amelia Underwood, Mason, Daxton, and Gunner Brannon.

The family is planning a celebration of life service for a later date.
