Ruby Hicks

Ruby E. Hicks, age 96 of Sweetwater passed away and went to Jesus on January 16, 2020. She was a member of Lees Chapel Baptist Church.  She also worked at the Lost Sea for 37 years. Ruby was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Hicks; daughter, Barbara Duke; and son, Pastor Dennis Hicks; brothers, Charlie, Mack and G.C. Harrison; sisters, Thelma Rushing and her beloved twin sister, Reba “Ebby” Campbell. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Underwood, Linda Phillips and Sandra Simmons; grandchildren, Terry, Tim, Tracy, Selena, Brauzo, Zarna, Kernessa, Guzar, Teresa, Sheb, Cody, Chet, Reese, Felecia and Amy. Ruby is also survived by several great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5pm – 7pm Friday, January 17, 2020 at Lees Chapel Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 7pm. Brothers Keith Woodby, Jackson Smith, Adam Henry, Mason Strickland and Jay Scruggs will be officiating. The graveside service will be 11am Saturday at Sweetwater Memorial Park. Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is serving the Hicks family.
