Ruby Hill

Ruby Faye Hill, age 91 of Philadelphia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2024. She was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church. She loved to can food, work in the garden and she loved her children and grandchildren. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah Hensley; children, Charlie Hill, Leon Hill, and Kevin Hill; grandchildren, Robby Laudermilk, Tina Watson, Chris Hill, and Whitney Hill Whitehead; brothers, Tom Hensley, J.H. Hensley, and Homer Hensley; sisters, Madge Brookshear, Geneva Grimes, and Jeanette Parks. She is survived by children, Pat Laudermilk, Danny Hill, Rickey Hill and wife Debbie, Terry Hill, and Pam Hill and Rhett Stone; daughters-in-law, Cyndie Hill and Karen Hill; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren that she loved dearly;  and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Steve McDonald and Rev. Cody Hill officiating. Graveside service will be at 3 PM  Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Reed Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
