Ruby Hughes

HUGHES, RUBY BRIGHT - 103, of Loudon, passed away at her home, Friday afternoon, March 14, 2014. Mother Ruby was a faithful and oldest member of Blairland Baptist Church. She loved working outdoors in her flowers and garden, and was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Hughes; son, Tony Hughes; parents, John and Hattie Moser Bright; sister Eva Watts; daughter-in-law, Faye Terry Hughes; son-in-law, J. W. Rinehart. Survivors: son, Jerry Hughes, Loudon; daughter, Patsy Rinehart, White Pine; daughter-in-law, Brenda Hughes, North Carolina; sister, Johnnie Faye Morris, Santa Barbara, California; five grandchildren, Greg Hughes, Kevin Hughes, Michelle Hickman, Tony Hughes, Jr., and Stephanie Arthur; ten great grandchildren. Special appreciation to her caregivers, Wendy, Krista, Janice, Lauran, and Christina, and nurses Pat and Marie, her adopted niece, Eunice Williams. Funeral services 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jon Henson officiating. Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Monday, Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe Watson officiating.
