Ruth Johnson

Ruth Johnson, age 98 of Ten Mile passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. She was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church in Ten Mile.

Ruth is preceded in death by Husband, Robert Johnson; Brothers, Elmer Carmony, Johnny Carmony, and James Carmony; Parents, Rev. Maynard and Alice Carmony; Granddaughter, Kimberly Carroll; Grandsons, Martin Johnson, and David Denton; Son in Law, Harold Denton; Daughter in Law, Linda Johnson. She is survived by Children, Ray Johnson, Roger Johnson, Roy Johnson, Rufus Johnson, and Rosie Denton; Sister, Jeannette Hughes; A host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Ruth is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 4-6 PM in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 6PM.  Rev. John Johnson and Rev. Jeremy Tuttle will be officiating.  The graveside service will be on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 2:00PM at Midway Church of God Cemetery in Ten Mile.
