COLLINS, SAMUEL R. - age 70 of Knoxville, passed away Friday January 4, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. Preceded in death by, parents, Wallace F. and Edith Deford Collins; brothers, Bobby and Carl Collins Survivors, wife, Janie Watts Collins; sons, Larry and wife Lisa Collins of Knoxville, David Ridings of Loudon; daughters, Joyce Ridings, Donna Rhea both of Lenoir City; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, David A. Collins and wife Jackie of Powell; sister, Faye Rand of Powell; special niece and caregiver, Maudie Johnson; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service 7:00 p.m. Monday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Farmer officiating. Honorary pallbearers, Sean, Tony, Chris, Damon, Jeremy, Ethan, Carrie, Erika, Erin, Caden, Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home.
