Shirley Belcher Jones

Shirley Belcher Jones, age 83 of Loudon, joined her Heavenly Father on May 12, 2024. Shirley loved life and her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a loyal member of Reed Springs Baptist Church in Philadelphia. She was the second oldest of 12 siblings,  which she was very close to, Alberta, Dorothy, Albert Jr., Carol, Jack, Lynn, Betty, Gail, Marsha, Kay, David and their families.
 

Shirley was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Benjamin “Ben” Belcher; daughter, Joan Belcher Haun; son, Jeffrey Belcher; late husband, Morgan Jones; parents, Albert B. Freels Sr. and Edna Foster Freels.
 

She is survived by daughter, Kimberly Belcher Strange; grandchildren, Whitney Huffman, Andy Belcher and wife Carrie, Jeremiah Haun and wife Miranda, Dylan Strange, and Cole Strange; daughter-in-law, Sherri Belcher; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Huffman, Sophie Belcher, Raelyn Belcher, and Cameron Haun; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. 
 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Steve McDonald, Dr. Dennis Ellis, and Rev. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
