Shirley Jones

Shirley Hutchinson Jones, age 80 of Sweetwater passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022.  She was a devoted lifetime member of Reed Springs Baptist Church, where she enjoyed serving in the Bread of Life Food Pantry.  Shirley loved sports, especially watching and cheering on her grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by husband, Eddie Jones. She is survived by children, Eddie Jones and wife Patricia, and Debbie Wilson; Grandchildren, B “Danielle,” and Sweet Pea “Andrea”; Special cousins, Don and Joy Bivens of Maryville. Shirley is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 2-4PM at Reed Springs Baptist Church with the funeral service at 4PM.  Rev. Dennis Ellis and Rev. Steven McDonald will be officiating.  The interment will follow in Reed Springs Cemetery.
