Sue Shell

Sue Shell, of Philadelphia, passed away on September 5, 2022 into the loving arms of her Savior. She was born September 23, 1933 to John Pruett and his wife, Dolly Giles Pruett and was a true follower of Jesus Christ.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Shell; parents, John and Dolly Pruett; siblings, Alma Ruth Pruett, Zelma Lorraine Pruett, Lois Appleton, Muriel Pruett and Dennis Pruett.  She is survived by her daughter Debbie James and husband, Wes; son, Paul Shell and wife, Kim; two grandchildren, Ashley Johnson and husband Jay, and Justin Shell. Sue also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Temple Johnson and Joe Wesley Johnson; brother, Rev. Doyle Pruett and his wife, Linda; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Friends may call at their convenience on Thursday, September 8 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Loudon Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Friday, September 9, 2022 at Corinth Cemetery.
