Ted Burnette

Ted R. Burnette 82 of Kingston passed away February 4, 2014. At his home. With his family at his bedside. Ted was a longstanding member of Dogwood Chapel Baptist Church. And a member of Vesper Lodge # 554 in Spruce Pine N.C. he is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Ene and Clara Greenlee Burnette, grandson, A.J. Basler, brother, Guy Burnette. survivors include, wife, Irma M. Burnette, daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jack Mealer of Knoxville. daughter, Wanda Brown of Johnson City, Tn. daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Jerry Thomas of Spruce Pine N.C. son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Connie Burnette of Marion N.C., brother, Harry Joe Burnette of Marion N.C. grandchildren, Paul Basler, Stephen Thomas, Joshua Burnette, Renee Burroughs. Great-grandchildren, Catlin Basler, Meredith Barrier, Jordan Burnette, Ryleigh Burnette, Max Burroughs, Carter Burroughs. Family and friends will gather at Dogwood Chapel Baptist Church on February 16th at 3:30 p.m. for Memorial Service with Rev. Ronnie Maples Officiating.
