Ted Halcomb

Pastor Ted A. Halcomb, age 80 faithfully finished his course on June 25, 2021 and stepped into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A faithful believer, a loving husband, wise and loving father, and a wise godly pastor to many, he spent his entire life serving his Lord and others. His driving force in life was in sharing the gospel message of Jesus Christ and living the love of Christ by helping many in any way possible. Faithfully serving for 26 years as pastor of Wildwood Church in the Paint Rock community, he lived his faith everyday. He was a member of IBEW Local 760.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie Halcomb and brothers Dan Halcomb and Richard Halcomb.

He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 58 years, Gorda Mae Halcomb; daughter, Debbie Richardson and husband Kenny of Maryville, TN; sons, Calvin Halcomb and wife Mylisa of Dublin, GA, Stephen Halcomb of Alcoa, TN, Jason Halcomb and Clave Halcomb, both of Kingston, TN.

He also leaves grandchildren Rachel Davis, Elizabeth Liddacoat and husband Ray, Corrie Thomas and husband Richie, David Halcomb, Andrew Halcomb and wife Jessica, along with five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 28, 2021 from 5-7pm with funeral service to follow at 7pm at Loudon Funeral Home. Brother Calvin Halcomb and Brother Neal Turner will be officiating. Graveside service will be 10am Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Wildwood Church Cemetery.
