Thressie Kirkland

Thressie L. Kirkland, age 93 of Loudon, formerly of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Thressie was preceded in death by husband, Walter Kirkland; Grandson, Justin Dotson; Son in law, Bobby Dotson; Brothers, Fred and Leonard Amburn; Sisters, Dallie Mckeehan, Ruth Anderson, Grace Steed, Virdell Kirkland; and Parents, Zeke and Cora Amburn.

Thressie is survived by children, Brenda Russell and husband Howard, and Wilma Dotson; Grandsons, Brent Russell and wife Gidget, Derek Russell; Great Grandchildren, Makenna and Brody Russell; Sister, Odell Dailey; Thressie is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will meet at Lower Chilhowee Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.loudonfuneralhome.net Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is in charge of the arrangements.
