Triffine Russell

Edith “Triffine” Isbill Russell, age 83, of Piney community, Loudon, TN went to be with the Lord April 14, 2024 after a brief illness. She was a member of Blairland Baptist Church. She had worked at Bacon Hosiery Mill, Bacon Creamery and other various jobs throughout her career.  

Triffine was a wonderful mother, loyal wife, loving friend and the heart of the family. She had a joy in being a caretaker for her family. She was strong in her faith and believed that the Lord always had a plan for us. Her faith, family and friends are what drove her life. She enjoyed reading her Bible, taking pictures of her family, and getting to go to the beach anytime she was able to go. 

Triffine was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Jean Isbill, and her husband of 60 years, Gordon Russell. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Brian and Anna Russell.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral to follow.  Pastor Jon Henson and Rev. Norman Heath will be officiating. Graveside service will be 11 AM on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Union Fork Creek Cemetery.
