DONOVAN, URSA MAE NICHOLS - age 103, formerly of Concord, left for her heavenly home, 9/18/2011. Born in Loudon County on 2/18/1908 to the late Beatrice (Randles) and James R. (Pap) Nichols. Preceded into life everlasting by husband, Joe Michael (Mike) Donovan; son, David Alan Donovan I; parents; sisters, Carie B. Nichols and Maude N. Early; brothers, Bert, Clarence, Elmer, Oscar Carl, Floyd and Eugene Nichols; son in law, Fred A. Pitts. Survivors: brother, Ray Nichols of Sweetwater; daughter, Bernice Pitts; grandchildren, Mike and Jim Pitts, David A. Donovan II, Cheri Donovan and Lisa Thompson; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; numerous friends including Mac Abel. Member of Shady Grove Baptist Church but ministered to by Concord Presbyterian Church. Our deep appreciation to the staff of NHC, Oak Ridge for their care and compassion. Funeral services 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Webster officiating. Family & friends will meet 11 a.m. Wednesday Concord Masonic Cemetery for graveside services.
