Verlin Green

Verlin "Bud" Green, July 15, 1923, of Loudon, TN, went to be with the Lord March 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by wife, Ella Mae Nix Green; his parents, and several brothers. Survived by son, Ronnie Green, of Loudon; granddaughter, Misti Green Ivens and husband Doug, of Madisonville; great grandsons, Tanner and Tucker Ivens; sister, Nellie McCarter; nieces, Carolyn and Jimmie Scott and Linda and Harold Hubbs; nephew, Donnie and Pam McCarter; and several great nieces and nephews. Bud loved farming and trading cattle. His great grandsons, Tanner and Tucker, called him Double Pappaw. He said he wasn't old enough to be a great pappaw. We would like to say a special Thank You to all the staff at Woods Presbyterian Nursing Home. Family and friends will meet Friday, 2:00 pm at Corinth Cemetery, for graveside service. Rev. Rick Kirkland will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with expenses. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
