Wanda Gourley

Wanda Lee Gibby Gourley, 83 of Sweetwater, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2018 at Sweetwater Hospital. She was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church for over 50 years. Wanda served as hostess at The Dinner Bell restaurant in Sweetwater for 23 years and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gourley; parents, Homer and Sarah Presswood Gibby and sister, Lena Gibby Jones. Survivors are brother and sister-in-law, Van and Lydia Gibby; special niece and nephews, Daniel and April Gibby and Mike and Mark Jones; "adopted" grandson, Tyler and Elizabeth Walters and son, Colton; sisters-in-law, Sally Caldwell and Shirley Gourley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The body will lie in state from 12pm - 1pm Monday at Reed Springs Baptist Church with visitation to be 1pm - 3pm. The funeral service will follow at 3pm with Rev. James Mason and Rev. Ronnie McDowell officiating. Interment in the church cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
