GRIMES, WILLIAM HENRY "BILL" - 78 of Loudon, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. Bill was a member of Blairland Baptist Church and retired from Loudon City Police Dept. with 29 years of service. and former Chief of Police. He was preceded in death by wife, Laura Campbell Grimes; parents, Henry and Maude Byrum Grimes; sisters, Ruth Bradshaw and husband, Ralph, Libby Edmonds and husband, Clinton and infant brother. Survivors: wife, Linda Sherrill Grimes; children and spouses, David and Traci Grimes of Louisiana, Vickie and Richard Spadafora of New York, Deanna and Bobby Raymond, Sweetwater, Tonya and Mickey Gossett, Seymour, Sherry and Mark Mackenzie, Michigan, Cindy Stender Arkansas, Susan and Jim Tottingham, Michigan; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Morris, Loudon and Loraine Stapp, Lenoir City; special nephew, Charles Lynn, Loudon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:00 p.m. Wednesday Loudon funeral Home Chapel. Pastor John Henson, Rev. Jimmy Riner and Rev. Doyle Pruitt officiating. Interment Corinth Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Rev.
