Willie Jean Brown, age 85 of Lenoir City formerly of Loudon, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at her home. She was a stay at home mom. She was a member of Loudon First Baptist Church and Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents; BrownLee and Dessie Burden Terry, granddaughter, Brooke Torbett, infant brother, Edison Terry, sisters, Faye Hughes and Estelle White, brothers; Lee Terry, Vernon Terry, James Terry, and L.C. Terry, sisters-in-law; Delores Johnson and Nancy Gossage.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John L. “Injun” Brown, son, Terry Brown, daughter, Tammy Brown, sister, Clara Lemons, brother, Charles Donald Terry and wife Elaine, sisters-in-law, Joyce Lusby and Linda Evans and husband Jim, several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Freddie Davis, Susan Harrison, and Wendy King for their meals, compassion, and care over the last few months. Also, all of Willie’s special friends who came to see her before she passed.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:30pm at Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating.
